Steps
- Download the driver that matches your Db2 version from IBM's Db2 JDBC driver versions and downloads page, and copy
db2jcc4.jarintodrivers. Restart BroadSQL. SHOW DRIVERS;must list the IBM driver.ADD CONNECTION HR_QA;(orCONFIG;on Windows), typeDB2, URLjdbc:db2://<host>:<port>/<database>, then your Db2 user and password.PING HR_QA;, thenCONNECT HR_QA;.
Ask your DBA for the port of the Db2 server: it depends on how the instance was configured.
On Db2
- DDL statements do not force a commit on Db2, so BroadSQL can roll them back with the transaction.
SET PASSWORDdoes not change a Db2 password: change it with your Db2 or system tools, then update BroadSQL withEDIT CONNECTION.
